31,000 Mile 1995 ZR-1 Auction
This late-fourth-generation Torch Red ZR-1 with 31,000 documented miles looks completely original and nicely equipped. It was delivered new to Anderson Chevrolet in Menlo Park, California with a total vehicle price of $69,653 that included $31,683 for the ZR-1 package.
It’s now apparently in Arizona so it would seem to be a west coast car over its lifetime. Scratches are evident on the front lip spoiler, and touch-up paint has been applied in various places.
Included with the car is a window sticker, a build sheet, an owner’s manual, a roof storage bag, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
It was ordered with the Selective Ride and Handling Package and also has 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, two removable roof panels, power-adjustable sport seats, automatic climate control, a CD/cassette stereo, and a Delco Bose Gold Series sound system.
The six-way power-adjustable sport bucket seats are upholstered in Light Beige leather and seem to have only normal wear for a 31,000 mile car.
The 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 was rated at 405 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. A ZF six-speed manual transmission was standard equipment to handle the increased power and torque, and the suspension and brakes were also upgraded.
The undercarriage looks really clean and corrosion-free which is not surprising for a California/Arizona vehicle.
The current owner has only had this C4 for two years after buying it at this same auction site for $37.000. This isn’t a super low-mileage car, so it’ll be interesting to see what the high bid will be when the auction ends Feb 13th.
